The article should include the following sections:

  • Problem Statement.
  • Analysis of Recent Research and Publications.
  • Objective of the Study.
  • Presentation of the Main Material.
  • Conclusions.
  • References.

The manuscript should be arranged in the following order: UDC, title, authors, affiliation, abstract, keywords, main text (including figures and tables), acknowledgements (if applicable), references, appendices (if applicable).

Formulas

Formulas and equations should be created using Microsoft Equation 3.0 or the built-in equation editor in MS Word 2007 or later versions. They should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in parentheses, aligned to the right side of the page (if referenced in the text).

Font sizes in formulas should be as follows: normal – 10 pt; large subscript – 6 pt; small subscript – 5 pt; large symbol – 16 pt; small symbol – 10 pt. Spacing before and after each formula – 12 pt.

When referring to variables or coefficients in the text of the article, Microsoft Equation 3.0 or the built-in MS Word equation editor should not be used. Instead, use superscript/subscript tools and the symbol table.

Ensure that all variables used in formulas are explained either before the formula or immediately after it:                                                       (1)

where Дн is the duration of delayed performance of operations, days; Дад is the agronomically allowable duration of operations, days; tд is the duration of work per day, hours; Uk is the potential crop yield, c/ha; Kд is the coefficient of daily yield losses.

Figures

All figures must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals. Each figure must have a caption. All photographs, schemes, graphs, and diagrams must be referenced in the text as figures. Line drawings should be produced by direct electronic output or high-quality scanning. Low-quality scanned images must not be used. Figures must be embedded within the text and not placed separately. Recommended file formats for figures include PNG, JPEG, GIF, etc. The resolution of figures should be 300 DPI. Electronic versions of articles in PDF format will be published with color figures, while the printed journal will contain figures in grayscale. All variables and symbols used in a figure must be defined either in the caption or in the legend as part of the figure. Figures should be placed as close as possible to their first citation in the text. For example, see Fig. 1.

Fig. 1. Algorithm for implementing the target function of the biotechnical system of animal breeding production

Figures created using MS Word tools must be grouped. The figure number and caption must be placed below the figure, centered, with a font size of 10 pt. The spacing before the figure – 12 pt. The spacing before the figure caption – 9 pt, and after the caption – 9 pt. The figure title must be provided in both Ukrainian and English languages.

References

The list of references should be placed at the end of the article. Do not start the reference list on a new page unless absolutely necessary. Authors must ensure that every citation mentioned in the text appears in the reference list and vice versa. Citations in the text should be indicated as [1] or [2], [3]. Do not use expressions such as “ref. [3]” or “reference [3]”. Font size for the reference list – 9.5 pt.

Conclusions. The conclusions of the article may be accompanied by recommendations, evaluations, proposals, hypotheses, and identification of new research directions, among others. Individual key points of the conclusions should be numbered.

REFERENCES

The bibliography must include no fewer than 15 references (authors are advised to carefully analyze works published in previous issues of the “Bulletin of LNAU”, series “Agroengineering Research”). The reference list should contain a sufficient number of up-to-date sources (published within the last ten years) relevant to the research topic. Self-citation of the authors’ own works is permitted, but it must not exceed 25% of the total number of references.

The bibliographic list is compiled in alphabetical order. If the article is written in Ukrainian or Russian, the reference list must be formatted in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015 requirements (see): http://aphd.ua/pryklady-oformlennia-bibliohrafichnoho-opysu-vidpovidno-do-dstu-83022015/
